The AES Digital Cable is built around a precision 110-ohm balanced digital cable with pure PTFE dielectric construction. It is used where the digital signal leaves a transport, DDC, streamer, or reclocker and enters the DAC over AES/EBU rather than 75-ohm coaxial S/PDIF.
In an AES-first system, this cable is the balanced digital handoff into the DAC. The goal is simple: correct impedance, Neutrik TOP Series heavy-duty XLR termination, clean shielding behavior, and a mechanically reliable connection at the point where the DAC receives its digital audio stream.
