Hey there, I’m Pavan—though in my corporate life I was known as Lakshmi Chintapalli. More than any official title, though, I’m an audio enthusiast at heart.

My journey with sound began at age 12, the very first moment I pressed play on a Dolby NC cassette Walkman. That spark turned into a lifelong passion—the pursuit of ‘perfect’ sound has been my North Star ever since. Long before I became a computer engineer or management consultant, I was tinkering with speakers, headphones, and anything else that could bring music to life.

Professionally, I spent nine rewarding years at PwC, and three years at Morgan Stanley prior to that. My roots are in coding, starting out at Prolifics in India, where I also earned my degree in Computer Engineering. After my MBA, the journey took me many places, but my true enthusiasm always quietly played in the background.

On January 1, 2024, I decided to follow my heart full-time and founded Sharada Audio—a space born from my love of three beautiful things: wood, audio, and leather. You’ll see these elements come together in everything I build. What started as a hobby has evolved into a mission to handcraft devices that add richness, depth, and character to the listening experience. I created Sharada Audio in the name of my daughter Sharada.

I now call Dallas, TX, home, where I live with my wonderful wife and two children. Outside the workshop, you’ll usually find me playing badminton or lost in the nostalgia of classic 80s and 90s tunes.

I run PBN Audio Amplifier, Pre Amp and my own AES Player + Streamer & DAC with Jim Salk’s HT2 Speakers. And I listen to South Indian Telugu music from 80’s, 90’s. I also enjoy western music from 80’s. Mostly Jazz, Classical Rock, and any female vocals.
