About

Sharada Audio is built around digital music reproduction.

We build hardware, software, and system ideas for listeners who care about the path from library to loudspeaker.

The name

Sharada means the goddess of music.

In India, Sharada is associated with learning, art, and music. We chose the name as a standard to live up to, not as decoration. The work should respect music first: the performance, the recording, the listening room, and the long path between a stored file and a reproduced sound.

Sharada Audio is also named for my daughter, Sharada. That makes the name personal. It reminds us that the company should be built with care, patience, and a sense of responsibility.

Approach

We did not want to keep making new boxes for the sake of it.

Instead of rushing into repeated "Mk2" revisions, we spent three years in product design, research, and development. The goal was to understand the complete digital music ecosystem before deciding what each product should do.

That work shaped the way we now think about source behavior, Windows LTSE platforms, industrial compute, linear power, AES output, playback-host software, discovery software, DAC behavior, analog level, amplification, and enclosure work.

What we build

Hardware for reproduction. Software for discovery and control.

Sharada Audio is not only a hardware company. We build reproduction hardware for the listening chain, and we also build software products such as songScout and playDesk to help listeners discover music, organize playback, and control a local digital system.

Founder

Pavan Chintapalli created Sharada Audio.

Pavan Chintapalli, founder of Sharada Audio

Hey there, I am Pavan. In my corporate life I was known as Lakshmi Chintapalli, but more than any title, I have always been an audio enthusiast at heart.

My journey with sound began at age 12, the first time I pressed play on a Dolby NC cassette Walkman. That moment started a lifelong pursuit of better sound. Long before I became a computer engineer or management consultant, I was already experimenting with speakers, headphones, and anything that could bring music closer.

Professionally, I spent nine years at PwC after three years at Morgan Stanley. My roots are in coding, beginning at Prolifics in India, where I also earned my degree in Computer Engineering. After an MBA, the work took me through many rooms and roles, but music and audio kept playing in the background.

On January 1, 2024, I decided to follow that passion full time and founded Sharada Audio in Dallas, Texas. What began as a hobby around wood, audio, and leather has become a mission to handcraft devices that add richness, depth, and character to the listening experience.

Conversation

No hard sell. Just music, systems, and shared curiosity.

Sharada Audio is not just about selling high-end gear. I genuinely enjoy connecting with music lovers, tinkerers, and audiophiles. If you are interested in a build, have feedback, or simply want to support the work, start here.

Listening philosophy

We listen for timing, tone, scale, image stability, low-level texture, and long-session ease, not only isolated specifications.

Research and development

The three-year development period gave us time to reject shallow revisions and build around a complete digital music ecosystem.

Build philosophy

Industrial parts, linear power, wiring, I/O panels, enclosure work, serviceability, and final inspection all belong to the finished component.
